We just found out that my little man has REALLY bad eyesight.
He just got his new glasses yesterday (many tears were involved). He is very self-conscious about how he looks now. And it didn't help that Owen told him his eyes looked HUGE in the glasses. We had to go through the entire extended family and figure out who else "looks like him"....it made him feel better to know that most of you wear glasses!!
To give you and idea of how bad his eyes really are...Aidan has a pretty strong prescription and his bad eye is a +2. Evan's eyes are equally at +5.75. He has been favoring one eye over the other for quite awhile so it is making his other eye lazy. We go back in about a month to see how his eyes are doing with the glasses. If the lazy eye is not improving then he will also need to wear a patch. So please pray that his glasses can help correct his lazy eye. I don't think he can handle glasses AND a patch!!
