We ventured over to Rapid City once again this summer to visit my cousin and her family. I think it is becoming a tradition! Here are some of the highlights from our trip this year...
The waterslide was a HUGE hit! We couldn't even get the kids in their swimsuits first. They were so excited they went right in with their clothes on.

Check out the sky in the above picture....we made the kids stop sliding after the first strike of lighting. My cousin then decided to load up the 3 oldest kids and take them to Bear Country. It ended up turning into quite the storm while they were there. They sat in the van while it dumped rain and hail on them, luckily they were parked with the mule deer and not the bears or wolves! Needless to say, the van ended up with quite a bit of hail damage.
Ahhh, the Cosmos...sorry about the poor quality of pictures! I was almost sick to my stomach at this place! It was very strange and I think I was the one having the hardest time standing up!
And of course, Reptile Garden. We went two times while we were visiting!

On our way home we stopped at a RV park in Spearfish. My aunt and uncle were staying there for the weekend so we took a little lunch/swim break before we headed home! The kids were having so much fun and did not want to leave. (We might have to add this to the annual visit, Aunt S and Uncle D!)
Yes, the whole group taking over the pool belongs to us!!
