KINDERGARTEN

Andrew started his first day of school today! It wasn't too traumatic for mom since he has been going to the summer program this year. He is very excited though and wants to go seven days a week!!! (Owen wants to go too!)

Picture Perfect

Owen has turned into such a poser!! He loves to pose for pictures these days. This photo was taken before a cousin's wedding this last weekend. I thought it was cute enough to share!!!

Andrew's Room

Well, Andrew made the big move downstairs to his new room! I figured we would slowly start working on the room and maybe sometime in December, closer to the baby's arrival, he would move downstairs. Oh, no. His bed arrived and he was ready to move down the first night! So we went to work fixing the room up for him and he loves it. I can't believe he is already sleeping downstairs by himself!!!

Owen's Room

Here is Owen's "new" big boy room!! He is thrilled to have a big boy bed like brother Andrew. I think he is actually starting to realize that a new baby is coming.....but he wants me to "take it out and see it NOW!". I'm afraid he has the patience of a Doll :)

Halloween in August????

The boys found their Halloween costumes today at Costco and we couldn't leave the store without buying them. They wanted to wear them as soon as we got home! Now they are busy saving their stuffed animals from bad guys!!

Trees of Mystery

We spent a day at the Trees of Mystery. The boys loved to pose in front of all the big Redwoods and riding the sky tram 400 feet above the trees.

Oregon Coast

We just returned from our vacation in Brookings, Oregon. The boys had a great time visiting grandma and playing at the beach daily!

Andrew LOVED the ocean. He would jump in the waves for hours. The water is probably around 40 degrees......brrrrr! He didn't seem to mind at all.

Here is daddy playing in the surf with Andrew....shortly after this shot, Aidan decided to venture out deeper and got caught in an undertow. The wave took him down, along with his swim trunks and glasses. He recovered his trunks but unfortunately the glasses were never to be seen again. He spent the remainder of the vacation blind!

Owen preferred to stay on dry sand with grandma! He did NOT like the ocean waves.
